Life story
Abbas Juma Abbas Waleed Al-Kooheji was born in Busaiteen on 8 April 1962 into the Al-Kooheji family. He studied chemical engineering at the University of Manchester and graduated in 1985. During his studies he failed his second year and nearly gave up, but repeated it and passed. He worked as a process engineer at the oil refinery in Sitra. In 1993 he married Muna Abbas Al-Rumaihi. He volunteers every Friday at a charity that delivers food to poor families. Today he lives in Busaiteen.
