Life story
Muna Abbas Ghazi Abbas Al-Rumaihi was born in Riffa on 17 March 1965, the daughter of Abbas Ghazi Al-Rumaihi and Sakina Mansoor Al-Oraibi. She was named after her paternal grandmother, Muna. She finished secondary school. She played volleyball for a local club and took part in club championships. She devoted herself to raising her family and caring for the elderly of the household. In 1993 she married Abbas Juma Al-Kooheji. She was diagnosed with breast cancer, recovered after a year of chemotherapy, and now volunteers to raise awareness of early screening. Today she lives in Sanad.
