Muna Fadhel Anwar Kamal Al-Arrayed

Muna Fadhel Anwar Kamal Al-Arrayed was born in Diraz on 10 April 1982 into the Al-Arrayed family. She studied chemical engineering at the University of Leeds and graduated in 2005 with honours. She worked as a process engineer at the oil refinery in Sitra. In 2007 she married Nasser Mohammed Al-Tajir. She opened a small restaurant that failed within two years, leaving her in debt; it took her five years to pay it back. She is a keen photographer whose pictures of old doors and alleys were exhibited in Manama. She gradually lost hearing in one ear and now wears a hearing aid. Today she lives in Arad.
