Life story
Jana Ebrahim Ali Waleed Al-Kooheji was born in Diraz on 10 June 1978, the daughter of Ebrahim Ali Al-Kooheji and Wafa Nabeel Al-Tajir. The Mohammed Al-Tajir Scholarship Fund paid for her studies. She studied computer science at Northeastern University in Boston and graduated in 2001. She works as a software developer. In 2005 she married her cousin Moosa Baqer Al-Khaja. In 2008 she earned a PhD in Boston. She gradually lost hearing in one ear and now wears a hearing aid. Today she lives in Tubli.
