Life story
Aisha Abdulrahman Mahdi Baqer Al-Ansari was born in Hidd on 14 May 1961 into the Al-Ansari family. She studied commerce and accounting at Kuwait University and graduated in 1984 with honours. She joined the Ministry of Finance as an auditor. In 1987 she married Adnan Juma Al-Tooq. She volunteers every Friday at a charity that delivers food to poor families. She went through a period of depression after losing her job, and recovered with the support of her family and treatment. Today she lives in Jidhafs.
