Iman Nawaf Habib Hani Al-Moosawi

Iman Nawaf Habib Hani Al-Moosawi was born in Budaiya on 22 November 1953 into the Al-Moosawi family. In 1975 she married Saleh Nabeel Al-Tajir. They had three children: Hamad, Nabeel and Mazen. She studied mechanical engineering at the Gulf Technical College and graduated in 1977. She worked as a maintenance engineer at the aluminium smelter. She opened a sewing and embroidery workshop that employs women from the neighbourhood. She was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and changed her whole lifestyle, walking every evening on the corniche. Today she lives in Busaiteen.
